MY ASSOCIATIONS

Odisha Skill Development Authority was established to provide overall direction, guidance & implementation of skill development programs in the State by converging different sectors. As the Chairman of OSDA, my efforts are towards an overarching mission to bring transformative human development through skilling youth and making Skilled in Odisha a Global Brand.

For a year now, Susmita, and I have been wanting help create a large infrastructure in an area that matters to the State beyond just the Pandemic. Towards this, we sought the opinion of many. Among them was Mr Asit Tripathy, then Chief Secretary. After he heard us, he said, cancer. Please do something in cancer. That is how started our thought process to set aside Rupees 340 crores of our personal wealth to bring Karunashraya in palliative care, and Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation in cancer cure and research to the State.
